NAHMA
Founded in 1990, NAHMA is the
nation's largest association for managers and owners of privately-owned,
government assisted rental housing.
A national organization with grassroots origins in local AHMAs operating
throughout the country, NAHMA believes in the maintenance of
this nation's affordable housing stock and ensuring the quality of life
for residents of affordable housing.
NAHMA's mission is based upon:
- Partnership with HUD, Congress and other housing advocates.
- Industry standards for affordable housing management.
- Communities of Quality for families living in affordable housing.
- Preservation of the existing units of government-assisted housing.
